'You Can See Everything' and 'Clayface' Battle for No. 1 in a Quiet Halloween Box Office
Sunday estimates have A24's 'You Can See Everything' at $10.6M and Warner Bros.' 'Clayface' at $10.4M, with final numbers due Monday.

A24’s ‘You Can See Everything’ and Warner Bros.’ ‘Clayface’ are in a near tie for first place at the domestic box office after a quiet Halloween weekend. According to Sunday estimates reported by Deadline, A24 is reporting $10.6 million for ‘You Can See Everything.’ Warner Bros. puts ‘Clayface’ at $10.4 million and believes its film will still come out on top. Variety described the two as battling for No. 1 at about $10.5 million each in what it called a sleepy Halloween weekend.
‘Clayface’ did win Halloween day itself, taking in $4.2 million against $3.58 million for ‘You Can See Everything,’ per Deadline.
‘You Can See Everything,’ from Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, expanded to more than 3,000 new screens nationwide this weekend, according to A24. The studio has kept its marketing deliberately vague, telling audiences that “the less you know, the better.”
Final weekend figures arrive Monday, and they’ll settle which film actually took the top spot.
